The first description was very accurate. One option instead of climbing the summit is to explored around the saddle. We found a little mountain pond that was a very refreshing swim. Followed by some sliding down a nice snow patch. Finding a place to camp is super easy. If you want to save packing space pack a grayL water filter. There are plenty of streams and also lots of water falls.
