This hike was a bit steeper than expected when we got near the top and the mountain does not give you much rest on the way up. However, only being 2.5 miles up the views from the top are totally worth the climb. Would recommend doing.

I visited this falls site earlier this summer and it was very over grown. Some of the grass in the fields was up over my head and the forestry around the creek where you have to climb some boulders was also very over grown. However, I went back recently and it was much more comfortable and a beautiful hike. One of the best in the Upstate South Carolina area by far.

This is a great trail with some amazing views and good clearings to get perfect photos if that's your thing. It's well kept so you don't have to worry too much about it being over grown. I can agree with the others that the trail was very busy on my trip, but the hike was enjoyable and the view of the largest waterfall in the state made it worth it.

This place was great to hike down to and enjoy the view. Along with the sights you can get in and swim when it's hot outside making for an awesome place to bring lunch and chill out for a while. The hike back is mostly uphill but not too steep to handle. Although, I will agree in the afternoon it can get pretty crowded. But the large parking area, and multiple waterfalls/swimming holes make it very tolerable.

I went to this waterfall as an addition to a hike down the Chattooga river recently. As you're hiking up to the falls it seems to come out of no where and was a pleasant surprise. A beautiful and fairly easy falls to get too. I would recommend it to others as well.
