LOVED it

Super awesome park. Spent part of my 30 hours in Iceland there. Well maintained and beautiful. The waterfalls are amazing as well, not highlighted enough in my opinion.

Worth it

I was only in Iceland for 30 hours but I stopped by. It's a pretty church, and the view from the tower is pretty good. Was a little underwhelmed though. Wasn't a very impressive church, but maybe I'm just picky.

Good downtown experience

Pretty nice parks. Not bad if you’re trying to stay near the city, but definitely doesn’t compare to the real outdoors.

Good, Even Better When Canyoneered

Super awesome hike. Went with a group and rappelled down. One of my favorite moments in the outdoors.

Good, But Too Touristy

I love the hike. A bit challenging with all the stairs but it's definitely worth it. The trails leading off from the arch are fun. Don't like how much traffic it brings though so I don't do it often. Usually only with friends visiting the area.

Awesome

Very difficult, but super fun hike. The cave at Cloudsplitter is incredible. One of my favorite spots in the Gorge.

Awesome

Anywhere in the Gorge is great, but this is one of the better trails. It's a classic for the RRG. Can be a bit challenging but also very rewarding. Climbing up Courthouse Rock isn't for the non adventurous, but if you can handle a bit of nerves from climbing it's great. Links in with Auxier Ridge which is also a must.

Good, Nothing Special

I've been there twice now. It's a really nice park overall; there are plenty of open areas and picnic benches so it'd be great for a family get together for the adventurous families out there. The trails themselves are average, but exploring the creeks is where the real fun is. I don't generally stay on a trail. I use one to get to the creek and then just explore until I'm ready to head back up the trail or another trail.
