Description

Added by John Arender

This hidden gem in South Mississippi is uniquely Mississippian and beautiful.

Red Bluff provides beautiful scenery and an interesting hike. Located far off the beaten path, there are no provided amenities.

Pulling off the highway, you park at the top of this massive washout. There is a trail to the bottom if you so choose to venture down. This trail can be quite strenuous, but well worth it.

One of the best things to do at Red Bluff is to follow the creek that runs out of the formation to the Pearl River. It is about a half mile from the base of Red Bluff, totaling a little over a mile of hiking to the river and back.
