Fantastic hike!!! The hike stars along the eastern side of Upper Kananaskis Lake. Follow the other to the fork where there is a sign that clearly marks the trail to Rawson Lake. This is where the trail starts to get get steep, and you really gain in elevation. Once at Rawson, the views are incredible. Bring your fishing rod as the lake has an abundance of fish, and they were jumping.

One of the best hikes so far this year. From the lake the switchbacks are a steady climb until you reach the junction (the hardest part of the hike). The trail to Eiffel Lake has little to elevation gain, and the views of the surrounding mountains is unreal. Once at the lake the views are amazing, and it's a great place to enjoy a snack, lunch, or explore. Just be aware that grizzlies could be in the area. An amazing hike enjoyed by our whole family.
