This hike is normally crowded, very touristy. But beautiful, and make sure you go after it rains, or else there won't be a waterfall to look at.

Avoid hiking this trail if it is blazing hot outside. No shade. But the view is worth the hike.

Pictures can't show the actual beauty of Crate Lake. If you go during summer, the water is a brilliant royal blue, and incredibly clear. You have to see it to believe it.
