Even though the parking lot and roads were full, we only saw a handful of people on the trail to Lackawaxen , until we circled around Blood's Lake on the way back. The hike was beautiful and we were all alone at Lake Lackawaxen. Definitely coming back to spend a night there.

This is a fun little hike to the glacier lake, which has a rope-swing and cliff jumping available in the back of the lake. The water is FREEZING, but well worth getting in on a hot day. Perfect day trip from Bear Lake or surrounding area.

I've camped here multiple times, and would recommend to anyone considering making the trip. There are 10+ camp spots around the lake, all of which are big and include large fire pits. The hike isn't too steep or too long, and will take you up and over a peak until you reach White Pine Lake. Perfect for a weekend camping trip.

Our group of 9 explored Steven's Complex and backpacked around ~25 miles roundtrip over a 3 day period. Temperature was perfect during the day and at night in late May. Would highly recommend to everyone.
