Sherwin Lakes Trail

This is a gorgeous hike going through a beautiful pine forest. About a 1/2 mile in the trail started getting snowy and we just followed the footprints in the snow. After another mile the trail was all snowed in with no more foot prints which is when we turned back. Would want to do this in the summer to make it Sherwin Lake. Highly recommend it.

You go from meadow to mud pots, to lily pads and then river and waterfall. Truly diverse landscape and SO MUCH FUN! Thank you for the detailed description. You made the day for this family.😄😄

Hike Beaver Ponds Loop

This hike made our day here at Mammoth hot springs! Even though the terraces were full of tourist and hot, once you start this hike you feel that you're really part of nature. It's shaded by all the trees and cool. The meadow is full of flowers and you can smell the flora and fauna which is better than any perfume you've ever smelled. We spotted elk and a fox. Lots of birds. There were baby ducks on the pond. The weather changes quickly so bring layers and rain gear.
