Why everyone should rent a cabin with their closest friends.

Friends, adventure, wine, cozyness, long walks, and tons of laughter. Rent yourself an isolated cabin and you won't regret it.

Alright, so everyone has stayed at an Airbnb before, therefore why on earth does some goob need to write an Outbound article about his Airbnb experience? Mainly because I want to, but also because everyone needs a good guide.

Step 1.

CABIN. Get yourself a little cabin somewhere. Preferably one without cell service or wifi. This is honestly a key aspect to a good get-away with friends, no services means true rest, intentional conversations and disconnect from work and other responsibilities.

Step 2.

FOOD. This is truly vital, because who can have a good time without good food. But here is an important part, cook as a team. Have some people cook the main course, others the dessert and a final team to do the cleaning. Food is the topping on top of the cake for any good trip, so make sure to go big when shopping.

Step 3.

Booze. Good wine, beer and whiskey are key for a great cabin get away. BUT and a big but, moderation is life, too much boozen and a weekend getaway can be ruined.

Step 4.

GAMES. We brought poker, but whatever floats your boat.

Step 5.

ADVENTURE. For all good get-aways adventure is a must, go find an abandoned building or go explore a new beach.  The crazier, wilder and more out there the adventure, the better the memories and the closer the time with friends.

Finally.

FRIENDS. You know what to do here, bring the squad.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!
