Run Runyon Canyon and enjoy some of the most amazing views of Los Angeles. This is a great option for an early morning workout or a sunset date hike.

Located in the Hollywood Hills, Runyon is an iconic workout run/ hike that can give you great views all the way to the ocean. There are a few different loop trails/ hikes you can take ranging from ~1.5mi to 3.25mi all with a decent amount of elevation gain. Also, remember this is Hollywood, so you might spot a celebrity or two...especially with their dogs.

All of the trails are well marked and maintained and are wide enough for multiple people, so you'll definitely not get lost.

Guess we can thank social media for the outburst of this canyons popularity. From Rihanna to The Game you don't know who you'll see on these trails. If you're more about the scene then the scenery, this spot is for you my friend!

Parking is always tough and this place can get pretty packed (with dogs and people) on the weekends, but it is worth doing once! It's an absurdly clear, wide path that takes you to the top where you can take in panoramic views of Los Angeles. Try to hit a clear day and you can see from the ocean to far beyond downtown.
