This is a fairly easy and scenic must do hike while in Death Valley National Park. There are plenty of photographs to be made in this canyon and tons of little nooks and crannies to explore
Just south of Furnace Creek you will look for Badwater Road just before Larrabee’s Jeep Rentals. You will then drive down this road for about a mile or mile and a half until you reach Natural Bridge Road on your left hand side. The road will take you to a parking lot where you should have plenty of room to park. The trailhead starts at about 400 feet elevation and continues up to about 800 feet before you have to turn back. The trail is about a 2 mile round trip hike, one mile in, one mile out. The trail is fairly easy although hiking on the gravel can make it a bit more strenuous especially when the sun is high in the sky. you will very quickly enter the canyon and see highlight of this trail, the "Natural Bridge" formation as it is located fairly early on the hike. The shade of the canyon is great relief from the sun on hot days and there are also many places to explore within the canyon. The trail does not loop so once you reach the end you will turn around and hike back the way you came in. This canyon is filled with photo ops and is worth checking out during your visit at Death Valley National Park.
