Great site - 27 acres next to 200+ public property. Camp in the field, views, within 50ish feet of stream. Drive right up.

Every time I visit, which I did for these pictures, I just enjoy the great outdoors. Beautiful campsite, about 50 feet from a cool running stream. There are rock walls, a small stream with 2 or 3 foot deep swimming holes, a larger stream, a bridge over the stream that leads to a logging road to hike, The road is a large circle so you just follow it around and it takes you back to the bridge. To the east is 200+ acres so you can hike there also.

Lots of wildlife. Added fire pit but please be safe with it - put the fire out if you leave or go to sleep. Plenty of wood around the area.

All you hear is the water running in the stream. I've seen fish in the lower stream.

Driving there - When you get to Cook Road, you will see a house with 2 mailboxes on their driveway, One black & one white. They show #216 and # 153 (which is up the hill). Across the street, up the hill another 75 feet from the mailboxes is the grass road entrance to the camp. It is marked by two red reflectors. Follow the grass road approx 400 feet, then make a left at the white CAMP sign. That's it.
