The beautifully renovated 1927 Ocean's Edge Cottage affords 270-degree ocean views on Pratt's Island. This 6BR estate offers Maine coastal living at its most spectacular, with expansive lawns, English gardens, dock, oceanfront bedrooms, full kitchen, and proximity to all Boothbay Harbor activities.

This slice of paradise, which comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests, is situated just 25’ from the ocean, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mouth of the Sheepscot River. This oceanside property offers lawns for plenty of outdoor fun: whiffle ball, volleyball, ping pong, sun tanning, lounging, and dining.

The moment you arrive at the southernmost point of Pratt’s Island, you know you’re at a very special place. The property faces south, so you’ll enjoy both sunrises and sunsets over the water. Private, yet all regional activities are within a 10-minute drive: Boothbay Harbor, Botanical Gardens, hiking, restaurants, boat excursions, golf, and shopping.


Inside, hardwood floors and charming wood beams characterize the open living area. The Maine granite stone fireplace warms the entire living space. It's a cozy gathering area for entertaining, playing board games, or stargazing thru oversized picture windows.


Play gourmet in well-stocked kitchen with butcher block and granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances include a gas range, dishwasher, and large fridge. The dining room features vaulted ceilings, huge windows, and a table for eight. Grill out on the porch and dine alfresco.


At bedtime, retire to the queen-size master bedroom, which features an en-suite bathroom a with shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom offers a queen bed. The third and fourth bedrooms each have two twin beds. The upstairs guest bathroom features an antique clawfoot tub with shower.

The expansive property is also home to a loft apartment with king bed, private bathroom, and an ocean-view balcony. A separate bunk house with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds and an outdoor shower is a perfect spot for the kids.


Your reservation includes Wi-Fi, Netflix, 50” TV, washer/dryer, parking for four cars, sea-kayaks, a canoe, dock and float, and lots of lawn sporting equipment.

Games including outdoor ping pong table, horseshoes, corn hole, bocce ball, croquet, and whiffle ball as well as puzzles and Jenga are provided.


From the expansive lawns, follow a stone walkway to Urchin Island, a small islet accessible at low and mid tides. Adirondack chairs provide the best vantage point for sunsets and Atlantic views. Private, but conveniently located.

Southport General Store is 5 minutes away. Dine nearby at Oliver's Restaurant, Robinson's Wharf, or Newagen Inn (all within a 5-minute drive). The town of Boothbay Harbor is just a 10-minute drive.

If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.Properties are fully furnished properties that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, furnishings unless otherwise specified.Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.Please note that you may be required to execute additional agreements in order to comply with TurnKey's Terms of Service, HomeOwner's association rules or local laws or regulations.
