Ideally located for a coastal getaway, the Santa Cruz Suite offers a delightful second-floor perch, only a 2-minute walk from the famous shores of sun-drenched East Beach.

The bedroom boasts a plush California-king sleigh bed and a flat-screen TV. Adjacent, a light-filled sitting room doubles as a sleeping area, complete with a twin daybed. A decorative electric fireplace adds tranquil ambiance.

Located in a small oceanside complex, amenities include a sunny communal area with outdoor dining tables, seating, and a barbeque grill.


A wall of windows floods the sitting area with natural light. A twin daybed with a twin trundle below can be used for additional sleeping space.


The unit includes a mini-refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker.


French doors lead into the bedroom, where a California king bed lets you sleep like royalty. A comfy armchair offers a pleasant spot to read, and a 32” wall-mounted TV awaits for movie nights.

A full bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan in the bedroom ensures a pleasant breeze.

This unit is located on the second floor. Elevators are not available.

This prime beachside locale is a half a block from the Amtrak rails, and passing trains may occasionally be heard.

This unit is part of an older historical building with multiple units, so guests may hear noises from adjacent units. Several other units are available in the same property for rent to accommodate a group. Inquire if you need to sleep more than four people.

The home is also located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront properties share this feature) and the 101 freeway. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, we recommend using the earplugs provided in each unit. While the noise doesn’t bother most guests, we like to be transparent so there are no surprises.


Your rental is just 1 block from the golden sands of stunning East Beach. You’re also just a block from the waterfront shuttle and a bike path that runs along the beachfront.

Enjoy the laid-back vibe in downtown Santa Barbara (a 5-minute drive), and head the same distance to Stearns Wharf for shopping, dining, fishing, or to simply enjoy the salty breeze and wonderful ocean views.

This rental is also just over a 10-minute walk for tasting sessions at Sanguis Winery, and local shops and eateries are even closer.

If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee.
