During harvest, pick a few vegetables to include in your meals. Take a stroll to the animal corral to feed the chickens and ducks. Relax and watch the goats and sheep with their funny, playful antics. They are sure to put a smile on everyone's face.

Spend the afternoon cooling off in the swimming hole, playing yard games, or simply unwind under the umbrella in the Adirondack chairs. A grill on the back porch allows you to enjoy the outdoor space without having to go far for a meal. The little ones are sure to enjoy their own, designed play area with games, balls and farm toys.

This space, formally a working barn on the property, was remodeled into an amazing, one-bedroom home, meant to be enjoyed by couples and small families looking to make incredible memories. Careful and deliberate planning created a resort-like feel that caters to those deserving of a destination escape in a country-like setting, yet close enough to all the local San Diego attractions.

There is a full kitchen stocked with all the essentials needed to cook meals that can be enjoyed in the indoor dining room or in the outdoor vintage garden, complete with a covered and shaded farm table. If you love coffee and tea, you'll enjoy all the varieties provided in the coffee bar. A freshly, brewed beverage is a perfect companion for watching the sun rise in any of the quaint spots around the property.

Relax in the spacious living room while watching a movie, or sit on the back porch in rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of nature, including frogs, owls, and peacocks at a neighboring winery.

We comfortably fit two couples or a small family between the queen bed and queen pull out couch. There is access to the bathroom from the common areas for guests who do not want to have to walk through the bedroom to use the bathroom.

The swimming hole is open, roughly from May through September, weather permitting. It is not heated, so Mother Nature dictates its availability.

Guests have full and private access to the barn, fire pit area, back deck, swimming hole and yard. The hosts visit the garden to water and tend to the plants, but never at the same time as when guests are using it.
