Trout Creek Camp is a family-owned property of nearly 200 forested acres with streams and wildlife located in the foothills of the Willamette Valley, about a one-hour drive from Portland.

The stay features two main buildings; the main cabin with 3 Queen bedrooms and a 2-bed loft, a communal lodge with a full kitchen and dining room, a living room with 2 couches, and a dormer with a Queen bed. Additionally, there are 4 sleeper cabins nestled alongside the creek, each featuring a Queen bed and one including an additional loft bed. These are uninsulated simple cabins. Lastly, there is a riverside tipi with an inflatable Queen mattress and a foldable couch as well as an optional Caretakers cottage with a Queen bed. Our place is old and full of memories!

A sitting porch overlooks the confluence, perfect for reading, writing, or relaxing. An outdoor fireplace down a small path sits on the creekside of the cabin and offers another completely unique setting with a wood-fired grill and cedar picnic table. Swimming is encouraged and for the hale and hearty, the extra cold Trout Creek makes an excellent plunge!

The soothing sounds of the river and creek together will wash away the stress of modern living and the busyness of long travel days. Plunge into the crystal clear water or hike up the creek and enjoy the irreplaceable unique beauty of our mature rain forest.
Enjoy rhododendron blooming in the spring or pick blackberries, salal, and Oregon grape in the summer. Hundreds of mushroom species thrive at various times of the year. Try your luck fishing for salmon in the river or fill your frying pan with Pike Minnow and maybe a trout in the summer. (license required). Hike the trails on the property or through the adjacent conservation lands.

This rustic retreat is ideal for nature lovers, writers, hikers, fishermen, and contemplative types.

If you require all the modern conveniences, this beautiful property may not be the best fit for you. Cell phone service is spotty. But we've got enough comforts to keep your mind and body happy and to check your e-mail!
