Staying at The Little Farmhouse is like stepping into a television ad for everything that makes Vermont desirable. This clean and quaint ranch style home is a perfect escape from the city.

The Little Farmhouse rests on a 100-acre Historic Vermont Farm. This means you'll have no disruptions from noisy neighbors, and you can enjoy exploring or watching the countryside without interruption. The owners of the site live in a separate farmhouse on the property. You get the convenience of their help without any loss of privacy on your getaway vacation. This place has all of the amenities you could want. It has three roomy bedrooms and two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a very clean and spacious kitchen and living room. It has Wi-Fi, a fully-stocked kitchen, free parking (for boats and ATVs, too!), and a seasonal swimming pool.

While The Little Farmhouse will not disappoint you for room and board, it will impress you year-round by its proximity to nature. There are two fully stocked fishing ponds on the property with views of the mountains, so you can fish without stepping foot into a vehicle. The farm also offers fresh and frozen meat. The owner, Kip, believes in the importance of farm-fresh produce and local meat production. That’s why the farm is committed to raising, processing, and selling meat that local consumers can trust.

The historic farm is very near Mt. Snow Ski Resort. There are also many sites available for snowshoeing or snowmobiling. If you are visiting The Little Farmhouse during warmer seasons, there are ample opportunities for kayaking, SUPing, golfing, hiking, and mushroom hunting (in the spring). The site is only 10 minutes away from Lake Raponda and Harriman Reservoir. Lastly, The Little Farmhouse is just outside of the beautiful little town of Wilmington. This town is home to multiple restaurants, and you'll want to make sure to buy some Vermont cheese or syrup while you're in the area.

Back at The Little Farmhouse, you can enjoy campfires and barbecues. Wood is available for $5 a bundle. Please don't bring your wood from out of state. It could introduce invasive bugs to Vermont. No matter the season, The Little Farmhouse offers a premium Vermont experience to all who are fortunate enough to stay there.
