If you're looking for a place to unwind Roaring Acres Farm is a beautiful piece of property set on a hillside with so much to enjoy. Hike the wooded trails though the premises, down the old railroad bed and to a winding river where you can fish, swim or just sit and listen. Beautiful views, sunsets and so much more.
If you're looking to take a day trip there is much to do nearby. Less than a 15 minute drive is the town of Belfast where you will find great restaurants, shops, and hiking trails! Sandy Point Beach is about a half hour away, a beautiful quiet beach to spend the day at.
Roaring Acres Farm was established in 1947 and has been passed down through the generations. We are excited to welcome newcomers to enjoy the vast landscape. If you're looking for fun we can show you where to find it. There will be a deck of cards and a horseshoe pit at the campsite and if you're looking for something specific let us know and we will find it for you. We are always looking for ways to share what we have with others and tentrr is a wonderful way to do that. We definitely encourage you to hike the wooded trails to the old railroad bridge and down to the winding stream where there is an old gristmill.
