Lake Hortonia campsite under towering pines.

Greetings from Vermont! This campsite was established late 2018. Come visit us here on the shores of Lake Hortonia and enjoy all that Vermont has to offer. Our tent is equipped with queen size bunk beds and a large dome tent for additional guests.

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed with your personal s'mores kit to enjoy over the fire. We also provide a gas grill with various pans and griddles for our campers' cooking convenience. Complete dinner ware sets, utensils, paper products, cooking oil and spices are also included.

There are state parks nearby, championship golf courses, brew pubs and wineries, and the great adventure park at Killington is less than an hour away! Maybe go antiquing or enjoy fresh food and crafts at a local farmers' market. Burlington and Ben and Jerry's are both just over an hour away, and totally worth the scenic drive! We are less than 20 minutes from Pond Woods Wildlife Management Area. Or you can just stay here and enjoy your campsite, the lake, and the prolific wildlife. We have great blue herons, osprey, bald eagles, hummingbirds, cardinals, bluebirds, and more for the birders. Kayaks (2) are offered as campsite extras, allowing campers to explore the lake. Fall foliage in Vermont is spectacular and not to be missed.

We invite you to read about our site thru the eyes of our recent guests. The state of Vermont charges a 9% rooms and meals tax. This fee is already included in the site charges. I guess they want you to know this lol.

We hope you will return to your lives restored. Happy Camping!
