Private Retreat At River's Edge

Welcome to Private Retreat at River's Edge, your personal hideaway in the Western foothills of Maine. You'll be tenting in the Maine woods, surrounded by fields and along the Nezinscot River. There are many hiking trails and outdoor activities nearby. You will only be a short walk or drive to the center of our quaint village of Buckfield, where you will find a grocery store and a bank, If you're looking for more activities, you'll find it in the nearby towns of Turner or Norway, which aren't more than a 15 minute drive away. If you drive an hour or less, you can find yourself in places like Portland, Augusta, Bethel, Brighton, Sebago. Wherever it is that you want to be in southern, central, coastal or the mountains of Maine, it is only an hour or two away!
