Mountain campsite hideaway with private pond

August Update: The Bethel Woods Museum is now open daily and all Fall festivals will go on as planned! Harvest Festival: Every Sunday Aug. 30th - Sept. 27th Wine and Craft Beer: the first two Saturdays in Oct.
UPDATE: The replacement canvas for our tent is here! Our campers can once again enjoy a clean and dry safari tent!
Picturesque campsite with a private two and a half acre pond set in 90 wooded acres. Located about an hour and a half from NYC and about 2 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (the holy grounds where Woodstock was held). Enjoy the scenic beauty, wildlife, and varied activities.

We provide fire wood. We don't have a wood stove in the tent but we do have a small propane tent heater. It does a good job of warming up the tent and we do provide propane cylinders. We also have a small BBQ grill if you prefer cooking on that than the fire pit. You do need to bring charcoal for that though. We have plenty of BBQ tools, aluminum foil and plates, cups, bowls etc. Also, a coffee pot and tea kettle.

Many of our campers ask about activities in our area. Here are some popular links to help you plan your trip. Most are just a few miles from our campsite.
