Escape to authentic country living, where there is no cable and only limited cell service. Instead of the pings of your phone, you'll hear only the harmonious sounds of nature.

The rushing water of the creek, the sweet song of the birds chirping, the neigh of the horses. Watch the sunrise with deer as your morning companions. After breakfast or a mid-afternoon snooze, enjoy a secluded walk through the beautiful, natural moments that our land provides. Or take a dip in the creek to cool down in the afternoon sun.

Located on the banks of the San Julian Creek and approximately four miles from Bandera is a quaint house underneath the shade of giant oak trees. The fenced-in backyard and patio provide the perfect location for a barbeque. Step back in time as you enjoy the peaceful morning air and say hi to the horses that graze in your presence as you dine.

This peaceful hideaway at Willow Creek Ranch is associated with Bandera Historical Rides. We are proud to do everything we can to preserve nature and make it an experience you won't forget. From our natural water well to our limited use of technology on-site, we aim to provide an authentic experience. Join us on the trail and adventure beyond the regular as you experience nature first hand on the back of a horse. Our horses were once unwanted and have been rescued and rehabilitated at our family-owned horse farm to live out their lives while providing education about the surrounding hill country landscape.

Whether your stay includes more rest and relaxation or you get in on the horse rehabilitation action, you can be sure that you will walk away from your stay refreshed and more knowledgeable about the beautiful hill country surroundings and the horses that make their home here. You may even walk away with a hug from a horse, which is the perfect ending to your stay.
