Join us on 43 gorgeous wooded acres on Sandy Pond! Camp is located in the middle of the property next to a three season stream under a blanket of old growth Hemlock, Birch, and Maple. Campsite is a short hike from beautiful 420 acre Sandy Pond where you can enjoy kayak and canoeing, swimming, fishing for wide mouth bass, or relaxing on a floatie! Hike the 43 acres of streams and wooded hills, hemlock and hardwood forests and even a hidden swamp full of cattails! Fall asleep listening to the loons on the pond. Around the corner is the famous Lost Kitchen Restaurant. Just down the road is the Hills to Sea hiking trail which spans from Unity to Belfast. Camp is located 11 minutes from the Common Ground Fair and 20 minutes from Belfast waterfront. Camp Includes: Camp Shower, Outhouse, two queen blow up bunk beds in tent, 1 bundle of firewood, propane cook stove, 4 plates, cups, bowls and silverware, cast iron skillet, 5 gallons of potable water.
