Come for relaxation and respite at our hobby farm nestled in the foothills of Amboy, only an hour drive from Portland. Access to boating, kayaking, or swimming at Lake Merwin is 15 minutes away. A brief country drive will have you off exploring the wonders of Mt. St. Helens' South side including the Ape Cave lava tube (24 miles) or Lava Canyon (34 miles). Other sites to see in North Clark County include Pomeroy Farm, Chelatchie Prarie Railroad, North Clark Historical Museum, and the Cedar Creek Grist Mill. Close by hiking is variable in degree including ease of access to Lucia or Moulton Falls to lengthier hikes at Bells Mountain or Tarbell with views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Or simply rest your day away with a good book and the sounds of farm life.
Take a look at the extras if you are wanting to add some simplification to your packing, increase your glamping experience, and be comfy. We also have treats and fun stuff listed in our extras. Does your crew have a RV/Camper and want to join you? RV/Camper hook up add on is an extra option.
The restroom includes a composting toilet and hot water on demand shower system. The site does not have any electricity. Tent is heated by a propane camp buddy. Cell service is limited. Sometimes you may be able to get Wi-Fi and we will share the password.
Pet guests are welcomed however make sure you select the Pet Fee extra. Pets must remain on leash or teether. Pets may not be left unattended and you must clean up after them. Pet weight limit is 35lbs. Pet limit is two. Remember we are a working farm and the camp site is on our duck pond. Please keep our ducks and the wild rabbits safe.
