Perfect for large groups, Linger Longer Lodge is an expansive 8BR/9BA estate with 4,000 square feet of living space across three floors. The stylish floor plan features high ceilings and large windows throughout. Outside, you’ll find a deck on each level, showcasing the beautiful mountain views.

Gorgeous hiking trails, Lake Susan, and the quaint downtown village of Montreat are all minutes away.

LIVING AREAS

On the ground floor, The Great Room provides comfy seating with a pair of leather sofas and armchairs. Plan your day’s activities at the convenient office nook, or stream the latest movies on the 52” HDTV with Blu-ray.

A sitting area off the Great Room offers a cozy spot to sip morning coffee. This space is furnished with two armchairs and a rocking chair.

An additional sitting area with two armchairs is also located on the top floor.

KITCHEN & DINING

The large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked feasts for your entire group. Upscale appliances include two stoves, two refrigerators, a microwave, and a dishwasher.

A large wooden table and a breakfast nook offer seating for up to 16 in the dining area.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This expansive lodge sleeps up to 24 guests in eight bedrooms -- each appointed with a flat-screen TV with cable. All bedrooms feature ceiling fans, in-room vanities, and a snug en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

On the third floor, two bedrooms are outfitted with a set of full-size beds and a chair. Two additional bedrooms each offer a queen bed and a cozy sitting nook.

Downstairs, two first-floor bedrooms also provide a queen bed, a chair, and picture windows that overlook the ground-floor deck. Two more bedrooms on the first floor are each furnished with two twin-over-twin bunk beds.

On the second floor, a guest bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Three decks provide plenty space for outdoor relaxation.

On the ground-floor deck, you’ll find two cushioned love seats, eight rocking chairs, and alfresco dining for six.

The second-floor deck provides three ceiling fans as well as five rocking chairs and two tables -- each with seating for four.

On the third floor, the top deck boasts gorgeous mountain views and offers two Adirondack chairs.

Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, Roku TV, a charcoal grill, washer/dryer, and driveway parking for up to six cars.

Please note that both entrances to the lodge are only accessible via at least one flight of stone steps.

Your stunning rental is surrounded by excellent hiking. Check out the highest point in Montreat on the Graybeard Mountain trail, or take in the stunning view of the entire Montreat Valley from Walker’s Knob.

For adventures on the water, launch a paddleboat or canoe on Lake Susan, a half mile away.

You’ll also be within minutes of downtown Montreat, best known for the Montreat Conference Center and the annual 4th of July Parade.

When dining out, local favorites in the area include Veranda Cafe, Phil's Bar-B-Que, and Que Sera. (All are within a 10-minute drive.)

If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee.
