Our 160 acre campsite is a secluded forest getaway adjacent to the old Hucklebuck Railway bed and overlooking the Roeliff Jansen Kill. The Roeliff Jansen Kill is a state stocked trout stream and is perfect for fishing and swimming. Wildlife and birdlife are plentiful in this area. Enjoy swimming, tubing or kayaking in the river and hiking or mountain biking on miles and miles of trails. The Roeliff Jansen Kill is a state stocked trout stream and is perfect for fishing. Wildlife and birdlife are all around. The site is close to breweries, wineries, pick your own farms, farmer's markets, historical sites, restaurants and shopping. It is also eight miles to the nearest supermarket and three miles to a general store. We provide free firewood at the campsite and additional water is available close by. There is a large cooler available if you bring your own ice and a barbecue grill if you bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. CampKeepers live on the property.
