Secluded campsite located near the Mongaup river!

Come unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature in this quiet campsite located in the Monguap River Valley as you listen to the sounds of the babbling creek just outside your tent. The site is loaded with all sorts of nature including turkey, deer (fawns), eagles, hawks, rabbits to name a few. During the day enjoy local fishing, hiking, kayaking etc. Then watch the sunset on Rio Dam or from the Hawks Nest lookout overlooking the Delaware River.
At night listen to the sounds of peepers and katydids as you stargaze in the meadow just a step out your door. The local fishing is a hidden gem with trout over 12 lbs., walleye, crappie, small and large mouth bass at Rio Reservoir. The nearby Nerversink River is known for some of NY's best trout fly fishing. Ask your campkeeper (avid fisherman) where the secret fishing spots are and some great tips. The area has so much to offer being located in the tri-state of NY, NJ & PA.
Or just simply relax and hang out by the firepit.
