Gateway Landing on Stone Hill
Lovell, Maine
Forested site with short trails to stunning moutain views.
Gateway Landing is a sun dappled site on the flank of Stone Hill. Formerly part of the vast Diamond Match Company, our 45 acre property contains several miles of wide, graded trails that were originally built for teams of horses to haul fresh timber to the log mills. Today, a few of these trails lead to a stunning summit view of the White Mountains! Our site is accessible via a quarter mile 4WD right of way (an easy hike from roadside parking). Nearby is a beautiful granite gorge on the Kezar River (0.3 miles away) and excellent canoeing / SUP opportunities with public boat launch on Five Kezar Ponds (0.5 miles away). Public hiking trails are also accessible behind Five Kezar Ponds and up nearby Mt. Sabattus. Convenient restaurant, gas, and groceries are located only 3 miles away by car. Site also includes guest access to spectacular “residents only” Pleasant Point Beach on Lake Kezar (20 minute drive). Explore away!
