Come to the cool Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy the sound of live music at the Blue Ridge Music Center and other locations that offer great mountain music. If antiquing is your thing, then you won't want to miss the many antique shops and Hillsville's annual Labor Day Flea Market & Gun Show just 8 miles away. The area also boasts wonderful farmers' markets with fresh fruit and vegetables. But that isn't all. Nearby, you can explore trails and bike paths. The campground is just 14 miles from Mount Airy, NC (home of Andy Griffith), and its many festivals and concerts. At the campground, you can fish in KOA's pond, rent the pedal boats, try your luck at gem and fossil panning, lounge by the pool or just relax.
