This site is nestled up against the Appalachian Trail on dozens of acres of protected woodland, which was the Grist and Saw Mill for the Hamlet of Hortontown on the Dutchess/Putnam line. Although extremely private, this is also the sister campsite for Hopeland Rest for those looking to rent both for a “camping compound”. This site is also has a bunk bed. Nearby are streams, springs, an old church and cemetery, Beacon, NY (15 min drive).
