Bear Trails
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
We can’t ensure that you’ll see bears during your stay at Bear Trails, but you will have some spectacular vistas to admire. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin looks out over dense woodlands toward the Smoky Mountains.
The view from the deck’s roomy hot tub is especially lovely, both during the day when you can view the mountains and at night when you can look up at the star-speckled sky. If you’d rather soak indoors, however, head upstairs to Bear Trails’ loft. There you’ll find a spacious jetted tub with a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding woods. After the steamy, massaging waters have revitalized your muscles and relaxed your soul, you and your special someone can step out onto the loft’s balcony to relish the fresh breeze. What a wonderful way to end the day… and begin a romantic evening.
The great room makes up much of Bear Trails’ main floor. A bevy of windows let in plenty of sunshine, and the towering vaulted ceiling adds to the open, airy feel. With its plush sofa and well-cushioned armchairs, the living room invites you to kick back and relax. Whether that means watching TV, surfing the web via the free WiFi, or sprawling out on the rug to build a Lego castle with the kids is entirely up to you. On chilly winter evenings, the golden warmth of the fireplace makes the room even more welcoming. (Speaking of winter, because this is mountain country, vehicles with 4-wheel drive or tire chains are recommended if you’re visiting us during that time.)
The dining area includes a table, set beneath a rustic antler-style chandelier, that seats 6. Alongside it is a breakfast bar with 2 stools. The breakfast bar doubles as additional kitchen counter space. Though dining out is often a vacation highlight, sometimes it’s easier (and more budget-friendly) to eat in. Bear Trails’ kitchen is equipped with a full gamut of appliances, cookware, and tableware. The only things you need to supply are food and an appetite.
Similarly, we’ll provide all the clean towels and bedding you could possibly want during your stay, and of course, when you arrive you’ll find the beds already beautifully made up. One of Bear Trails’ bedrooms boasts a king-size bed; the 2nd features a queen-size bed. Additional guests can sleep in the great room, as the sofa opens into a bed for 2. Both bedrooms include a TV and ample storage. There’s a bathroom for each bedroom.
