Description

Easy hike 1 mile roundtrip hike to amazing look-outAwesome lake

Although getting there involves a series of turn-outs and eventually a bumpy, rocky road (which I would only recommend to 4-wheelers, although I did see a Prius do it...), this lake is totally worth it.

Parking is limited, but there are plenty of make-shift ones available. Once parked you can head over to a fenced-off OHV road, where you'll find picnic table right by the shore. They do say that these are for campers use only, but no one should care if there isn't anyone camping in that spot. From there, the lake is open for whatever you want to use it for!

Other than that, there's an insane look-out that you can get to by simply walking to the opposite side of the parking space. Follow the half-mile trail past the dam and up the small hill, and your breath will be blown away by the view of the valley.
