This is a pretty good hike right in the middle of the city. I definitely wouldn't do it in the summer. We did it a couple weeks ago and the rocks were pretty hot from the sun even though it was only in the 80's.

Not really too much of an adventure but there is a decent view of the city lights if you go up at night.

If you get an early start it helps with the crowds. We went on a Saturday during summer but we started our hike at 0630 so we were coming down as most of the big crowds were coming up.

If it's going to be windy make sure to wear pants or leggings. The blowing sand is painful on bare skin.

This is no joke! Just steps straight up the side of a mountain.

This was such a cool place! It was super muddy when we went last week.

Most people stop too soon. Most people stop as soon as they get to the water. I know I did the first 2 times I went here. If you cross the stream and continue on about a half mile or so maybe a little less you get to see some more pools and water falls

I love this place but there are much better views to be had from the trails in this area that aren't paved. Also, if you live in the Tucson area the annual pass for Coronado National Forest is only $20 so it pays for itself after just a couple visits.
