Great description! I second that this hike is amazing, especially in the fall when the colors are changing. Worth mentioning is the fact that Nasukoin is the tallest mountain in the Whitefish Mountain Range and the Glacier View Ranger district at 8,069 ft. Actually it is the closest 8,000+ foot mountain to GNP unless you head south to the Swan or Mission Range.
