It only costs 1000 shillings (about $10) for adults and 500 shillings (about $5) for children. Open Water Swim in Mombasa
Mombasa, Kenya

The best way to approach the shore is by walking along Sir Mbarak Hinawy Rd and taking the first right that leads you to a downhill road. At the end of the road, turn right again and behold the first thing your eyes will catch is the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean. On the opposite side of the channel you will see privately owned villas, luxury apartments, an old abandoned jetty and the po...
Visit the Masai Mara Tribe
Narok, Kenya
One of the other main adventures of the Masai Mara Reserve is to visit the Maasai people. They are known for being some of the best jumpers in the world and the higher the males jump, the more prestige they gain. When you visit the community they greet you with a traditional dance and then take you in to the interior where you learn their way of life. You cannot find the tribe on the map, but y...
Get a Bird's Eye View of Nairobi
Nairobi, Kenya
5.0
The best view Nairobi has to offer! This incredible 360 view is definitely worth the vertigo you feel when you're standing on top of this tower. It's a $5 entrance fee you will pay upon entering the center and then you'll ride the elevator all the way to the top. Be careful with small children because the railing is very low on the top of the building!
Eat at Rolf's
Nairobi, Kenya
Venture out to Rolf's Place for a fun adventure and a delicious lunch. On the drive out there you will pass by Nairobi National Park and you will see some wildlife if you keep a close eye; we saw giraffes, warthogs, and zebras. Definitely worth the drive for this awesome experience and meal!
Tour the Kazuri Bead Factory
Nairobi, Kenya
Kazuri means "small and beautiful" and that's exactly what kind of beads they produce here. The mission of the factory is to provide sustainable jobs to the local woman of Nairobi and contribute to the fair trade market. The tour is free to take, but I highly recommend visiting the shop afterwards to view the incredible jewelry and ceramics that are produced.
Explore Hell's Gate National Park
Hell's Gate National Park, Kenya

If you're visiting Kenya a trip to Hell's Gate National Park is a must. It's about a 2-3 hour drive from Nairobi depending on traffic, but definitely worth the trip! If you don't want to rent a car I suggest going through this company that will pick you up in Nairobi and take care of everything for you.
If you decide to travel to the park on your own, or through a driver, you can stop at the ju...
