The trails on the east side of the Baird Creek trail system I think are more geared towards mountain biking (pun intended ;) As such, for the hiker it is a bit more challenging as there are more hills and twists and turns to navigate. Overall however you are rewarded with some more beautiful scenery along the way. Make sure to snap a pic of the trail map beforehand as it is a little confusing farther in as trails often overlap and intersect.

Rawley Point has something for everyone. Stunning views of Lake Michigan, biking trails, well signed and maintained hiking trails etc. They even have a lighthouse. Definitely worth the drive from Green Bay or surrounding areas. For more of my photos check out https://kirkwidraphotography.weebly.com

When I found this trail on the app here I was intrigued by the prospect of exploring some caves here in Wisconsin, unfortunately they weren’t that interesting... This is more like an educational center for children and the trail system is really just designed to connect the various caves along the route. With that said make sure to stay on the marked trails. There are a few options along the river that look like trails that aren’t. If you find yourself on one of these be forewarned they are poorly maintained and riddled with prickly plants covering deep patches of mud and which ultimately lead to private property.

This is a nice loop though scenic landscape, though not particularly challenging it is great for a quick workout. For more of my photos check out https://kirkwidraphotography.weebly.com

I stumbled upon this trail here on this app and was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was just minutes away. This trail is a bit more technical and varied then some other trails in Green Bay and worth doing. For more of my photos check out https://kirkwidraphotography.weebly.com

This is a fun easy trail that essentially is a loop around University of Wisconsin Green Bay. It is mostly all flat and not technically challenging but offers some nice scenery and opportunities to see all manner of wild life, including badgers, deer and turkeys. Overall an easy hike, with pretty winter scenery. A bit crowded for winter but as the other reviewers mentioned it is a good hike for exercise all the same.
