Did this hike just this past weekend and loved the lack of people. Saw deer, elk, wild turkeys and an amazing sunset.

The last .7 of a mile to the top is the most fun I’ve had hiking in a long time. And the top at sunset is incredible. Hope to go back soon.

The pin droped for this trip at the wolf pit road Parkin spot doest not work on iPhones unless you set your gps after you get through a town called Morgantown. We had a few issues getting there, but the views we're absolutely amazing. Very different terrain from what you normally find in North Carolina. We had a blast and are already planning our next trip there. Thanks for posting this trip on here.

I was really disappointed by the dutchman's creek trail. No spectacular views or anything really exciting.
