I love exploring Idaho and other nearby states. I live in Idaho with my wife and three boys. I'm a full-time accountant but obsessed photographer and adventurer.

Jenny Lake is a beautiful lake that is an awesome place to go swimming and enjoy amazing views of the Tetons. It's a great spot to take your family as well.

One of my favorite places in the park is here. It's hard to have a bad sunset even if there aren't any clouds in the sky. It's a must-stop destination if you're coming to Grand Teton National Park. The best time to see the Tetons reflected in the water would be around sunrise and sunset as the wind has usually died down around then.

Oxbow Bend is one of the best locations to photograph a sunrise in the entire park, especially during fall. The lighting is spectacular as it first hits Mt Moran. It's also easily accessible from the parking lot. There tend to be a lot of photographers there in fall, so arrive early if you want a good spot.

Antelope Flats is such a pretty place and when the sunlight first hits the Grand Teton and then barn, it's an amazing sight. Definitely recommend catching a sunrise here.

What I loved about this hike is the short hike it takes to get there making it a good family hike. The views you get up there with the Tetons are amazing! There's also an awesome stream along the hike.

Fall Creek Falls is one of my favorite places to visit and just enjoy nature. I come here often, especially at sunrise when the sun comes up over the mountains and lights up the Snake River and waterfall. Moose also frequent this area, making it an even more awesome destination. It's also a very short walk to get above the waterfall.

Zion National Park is such an amazing place, especially this spot. I remember when I started this hike how awesome the view was from the bridge. Definitely recommend checking out this spot. Tiffany captured it perfectly at sunset.

Exploring Upper Mesa Falls is awesome. Whether you just want to see the falls from the viewing platform or be more adventurous and hike below the falls; it's a great experience. Great stop on the way to Yellowstone.

There's an additional note about this adventure. If you plan on hiking down to the bottom of the river, you need to let the rangers know. They are OK with you going as long as they know you're down there. They also want you to be inconspicuous when jumping the gate to hike down, so you don't attract attention and get all the other tourists following you down.
