Stand Up Paddle in Kaneohe Bay

I live on the bay and if I'm not up in the mountains hiking in the morning I'm usually paddling on the bay with my dog Echo (a blue Heeler) From about sunrise to 9:30 the bay is usually pancake flat and transparent allowing you to see all the coral heads, tons of eagle rays, and turtles. Depending on where you start your paddle, a circle around coconut island on a clear day will allow you to see a lot of reef formations and sand bars. Be warned, it can get very shallow at times so depending on what fin you are using on your board you might need to go around some of the reefs
