Sipsey USA good place for beginners to hike. There are some nice streams and bluffs but nothing spectacular. Personally, I'd rather drive a little further to Cohutta or Pisgah NF.

There are several places to climb along the bluff. There is enough variation to give everyone a challenge. Easy to get to but there are no facilities. Make sure and leave it clean.

This is a really nice hike for beginning backpackers. There are some nice views and the trail is not steep.

The cable trail gets its name from, you guessed it, the cable that you have to grasp on your way up and down. Despot being a near 90 degree climb in places, there are plenty of roots and rocks to grab on to along with the cable. The lower plunge pool is beautiful and large. You won't want to miss it.

This is a great hike for families with young children. The path is paved and many of the plants and trees are marked. The path is smooth so it's easy for younger ones to navigate. The falls are beautiful. Definitely worth a walk.
