Longer, tougher trail up than many others in this area. Trail gets quite narrow at points. Certainly worth it once you reach the summit, as the views are spectacular. The fire tower is in good repair and gets you well above the trees. There are a couple points where the tree line ends and there's a nice rock face to sit on and take in the view. Highly recommended day hike!
