Executive Housekeeper - Beaver Creek Reception Center / Seasons at Avon


Seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee Housekeeping Operations at the Beaver Creek Reception Center and The Seasons at Avon

Operating Standards – maintain and continuously improve compliance with BCRP standards in areas of responsibility including sanitation and cleanliness as well as stocking of guest room and public areas. Develop and implement systematic and regular cleaning programs and checklists as well as resolve issues raised through guest/owner complaints, both internal and external.  Maintain appropriate supply of tools, inventories and materials to achieve this function.

Financial – Monitor and control labor expenses with in house team and appropriate contract housekeeping as needed.  Hire, train and schedule staff to manage business levels.  Maintain accurate inventories and reorder in a timely manner so no rush delivery charges are incurred. 

Safety/Training – Maintain the safe function and organization of the housekeeping areas as well as create a culture of safe work habits throughout the housekeeping department.  Ensure job specific training in areas of responsibility as well as compliance with delivery and orientation training.

Leadership – maintain high levels of morale throughout housekeeping staff via regular one on one meetings and team meetings.  Provide clear direction, communication, coaching and candid feedback as needed.  Model behavior throughout the property to contribute to a culture of safety and organization.  Communicate effectively with all internal and interdepartmental teams. (ie, Front Desk, GM, Maintenance, supervisors, peers,  subordinates and hospitality division)

Ability to manage many diverse situations/ Flexibility and reasonableness

Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must speak and understand both English and Spanish

Regular inspection of units

Carry company messages and initiatives to staff so they feel important and involved being an advocate for the company.

Head up team projects and participation outside of regular duties.

Must have valid Colorado drivers license

Expectation of duties: 20% administrative and 80% supervising, inspecting and cleaning
