Job Summary:

The Brand Content Coordinator/Snow Reporter is tasked with generating content for Beaver Creek each day, which includes reporting daily snow conditions, weather, and events by using a variety of communication platforms. They will serve as a vital member to the PR and Marketing departments throughout the winter season, with the primary responsibility to produce visual, audio and written materials that speak to the Beaver Creek brand on a daily basis. This will consist of capturing video and photos, monitoring social media channels, creating multimedia content, assisting with written communications, and other PR and marketing tasks as assigned. They will work with multiple computer programs while completing all tasks in a quick, timely, and professional way. The Brand Content Coordinator/Snow Reporter is a full-time seasonal position November through April.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Early-morning attendance required, with reliable timeliness
  • Capture high-quality photos and video of snow conditions, resort activities, and other needed assets
  • Shoot, edit and publish multimedia content under tight deadlines
  • Work closely with the Beaver Creek PR and Marketing departments to align with the brand and create content with the correct voice and message to achieve business needs
  • Write about Beaver Creek’s marketing messages, conditions, weather and other snow reporting facts daily, in word documents, emails, blogs and social media channels
  • Must be able to show personality through video snow reports, use cameras and record on-mountain footage of themselves and happenings around them
  • Assist communications and marketing teams with various projects, including but not limited to press releases, blog writing, social media monitoring, attending meetings
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of Beaver Creek’s operations and event schedules on a day-to-day basis
  • Other content duties as assigned


  • Degree and/or one year equivalent experience in communications or marketing related field
  • Be on time, reliable, responsible, and be at work no later than 6:30 a.m. on select days
  • Must be an advanced skier or snowboarder
  • Must be familiar with social media platforms and channels
  • Comfortable with shooting, editing, and publishing video content including proficiency with GoPro and DSLR Cameras
  • Strong photography and editing skills
  • Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English, including strong writing skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend fast-paced correspondence
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Int./Adv. computer skills
  • Display professionalism with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be comfortable and enthusiastic in front of a camera, with the ability to engage a variety of personalities, and have the skills to create short snow report videos
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work under tight deadlines, deal with change well
  • Work well under pressure
  • Availability on weekends and holidays
  • Must have reliable and personal transportation, even on snow days
  • Work 40 hours a week through mid- to late-April
