The Audit/Vault team is responsible for the auditing of all charges and postings, making any necessary corrections and reporting. This is an entry level seasonal position which functions to assure that daily revenue and settlements from all Afton Alps locations are recorded and sold appropriately. The Audit/Vault team monitors areas of potential risk to Afton Alps.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited too):

  • Complete & file revenue audit packs and keep within a specified period
  • Complete 30+ POS audits per day or as specified by supervisor
  • Adjust revenue for locations to RPOS/General Ledger through CAS entries
  • Ensure that locations are properly assembling the audit packs, and notify them of any discrepancies through Audit Points of Concern (APOC) spreadsheet
  • Responsible for filing and boxing audit packs and credit card receipts.
  • Prepare the bank vaults on time for resort’s daily opening
  • Count, record, and verify deposits for currency orders to replenish other vaults along with replenishing  vault supplies as needed
  • Fill out requisition forms to order currency, handle the recording and processing of currency into the vault
  • Count and verify the vault's money supply daily
  • Complete surprise vault counts at other locations as requested by supervisor
  • Work closely with other locations to monitor their currency on hand
  • Oversees loading, unloading and moving of currency to and from vaults
  • Cross-check currency in vault with the entry in the register
  • Oversees receiving, processing, routing and shipping of currency, prepares route and work documents
  • Complete log book prior to pick-ups, verifies deposits and pickup receipts
  • Adjust the supply of currency at other locations as requested by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned




  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree—Preferred
  • Business and Accounting related coursework—Preferred

Work Experience:

  • Previous accounting experience—Preferred

Computer Skills:

  • RPOS Knowledge—Preferred
  • Info Genesis Knowledge—Preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge—Required

Language(s) Skill:

  • English
