Located at 10,350 feet, Adventure Ridge is packed with high altitude fun! We work hard so our guests can play hard. From Ski Biking and Kids Snowmobiling to the Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster and rip roaring Tubing, we offer a family experience Like Nothing on Earth.  


Winter staff is expected to work the full season, starting mid-December 2016 to beginning of April 2017 and pass all training requirements.


As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to provide guests with fun memorable experiences and adventures in the outdoors. Job duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Preparing tubes for guest use
  • Performing daily safety checks
  • Providing guests with tubing orientation
  • Assisting guests with tubes and getting them down the lanes in a fun but safe manner


Kids Snowmobiles

  • Staging snowmobiles and helmets for guest use
  • Performing daily safety checks and inspections
  • Monitoring gas levels and fill as needed
  • Continuously check track for potential hazards
  • Supervise kids on the track


Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster

  • Performing daily safety checks and inspections
  • Delivering a safety orientation for riders prior to participation
  • Ensuring there are enough sleds for guests


General Responsibilities

  • Working outside in various weather conditions, standing on uneven and slippery surfaces for longs periods of time, and lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a regular basis
  • Snow removal from all activities, tubing building, Adventure Bahn carpet lift, coaster track
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Actively mitigate any hazards that may arise
  • Actively participate in daily meetings so the team can carry out assigned goals and objectives
  • Work with Adventure Ridge Management, Maintenance Crew, Team Leads and other key departments to keep our facilities and equipment maintained and obtain objectives
  • Constantly monitor the adherence of safety policies to ensure that our guest and staff safety is our highest priority
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers/guests for use of activity specific equipment
  • Promote and act as a role model in the area of the responsibility code, safety and risk awareness as prescribed by resort's safety policies.
  • Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
  • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by Adventure Ridge Management



  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays, extended weeks and extended hours during peak times
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be comfortable working in a high alpine environment (working through inclement weather conditions)
  • Able to meet Colorado State requirements for all background checks
  • Must be able to communicate easily and effectively in English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of organization



  • Spanish speaking skills helpful
  • Previous customer service experience
