The key responsibility of the Social Media Coordinator is to coordinate all TNF social media efforts across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Vimeo, Google+, and other emerging media to deliver key brand messaging and content and to engage with our social communities. Leverage end-to-end creative, copy, and content across relevant sites to drive engagement, awareness, tnf.com database growth, and traffic for tnf.com. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Execute against The North Face social media strategy to maximize the Brand's reach and engage social communities across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Vimeo, Google+, and other emerging media.
Gather existing creative content from brand team, sustainability team, sports marketing team, and other stakeholders to be leveraged in social media.
Identify new emerging media to extend TNF social media engagement efforts.
Create and maintain social media flow content calendar annually.
Moderate fan content submissions for TNF marketing, website, and in-store use.
Develop fan, athlete, and influencer content sourcing strategy.
Connect social media efforts to overall digital strategy.
Leverage social media to fuel CRM and mobile efforts.
Assist with messaging and program execution for TNF social influencers.
- Optimize social listening keywords, topic groups, and reporting
Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing.
Educational/Position Requirements: BA/BS in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
Computer/Software Applications: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Vimeo, Google+, and emerging media, CRM software knowledge
Working knowledge of digital media (search, email, affiliate, mobile, etc.).
Working knowledge of web development and strong project management skills.
Ability to lead cross functional digital marketing projects for on-time in-budget delivery.
Strong communications and negotiations skills.
