Work for Hipcamp
San Francisco, California
**About the Role**Hello, fellow designer! We're so happy you're here. We've heard a lot of great things about you:That you're kind to others and work hard. You always hit deadlines. You download new apps solely to test their on boarding flows. You're not afraid to ask for help and know how to give and take constructive feedback. You always find yourself trying to identify fonts on menus and posters (much to your friends dismay). You know the difference between an em dash and en dash (and point out when the wrong one is used). You're passionate about both print and product design. You know all the shortcut keys in Photoshop & Indesign. You jump between teams, and handle multiple projects with ease. You prepare design specs that make engineers smile. You take pride in your design's attention to detail and focus on usability.Which is why you want to come work with us. Because we're just like you. And we have some pretty rad projects to help you learn new skills and improve existing ones.So let's do this thing. Send us some stuff you've worked on and we'll be in touch.**Working at Hipcamp**Health is essential to happiness. Interns receive 50% off all Hipcamps—because we believe getting outside is excellent preventative medicine in addition to increasing your creativity, lowering your stress and making you an overall more awesome human. We take team camping trips together and this summer will be hosting a series of workshop orientated campouts (mushroom foraging or treehouse building anyone?) We also have a great gear library and pro deals at partner outdoor companies. We support flexible scheduling including remote days and are focused on output not hours. We believe in empowerment, autonomy, and accountability. Our office is located at 1 Lombard Street, right on the Embarcadero. Our kitchen is stocked with healthy snacks (and some not so healthy), plus Stumptown cold brew nitro-coffee (yes, that's a thing) and Revive kombucha on tap! Did we mention coffee? We love good coffee. Pick your poison: Sightglass, Four Barrel, Ritual, Blue Bottle, Stumptown, or maybe you know of something even cooler that we don't even know about. This position is based in San Francisco.
