I decided on Rico trail and the only other trekker was a delight to speak with. Great camp sites and wonderful for mountain biking. Ready to explore more secluded pockets in the Basin.

One of my top hikes so far in Colorado. Peaceful. Not many people in mid June. A few falling, burnt trees along the way; A little bit of vertical rock climbing. The climbs into the trees and descents next to the water's edge were top notch. The springs itself has great views but a little tricky to get down if not in grippy shoes. I would put this hike on my short list to revisit and maybe camp this time.
