I did the south trailhead portion of this hike. It’s not easy but not super difficult, there are some rocky areas you have to climb to reach the summit & the hike is all uphill from the get go. It’s absolutely worth it for the view. I would be hesitant to do this during the weekend summer months just because of how packed it would be at the top.

Overall it’s an easy hike & there are multiple loops to pick from, so you can make it as short or long of a day as you want. The summer is a bit chaotic, but the fall-spring isn’t too packed. If you’re wanting to see all of the falls I would recommend actual hiking boots, since it can get a little slippery & pools of water form on the trails behind waterfalls.

Awesome summer spot to cool down! Bring a tube to go down some of the slides or just to hang out in. There’s only one small parking lot but there’s some space along the road where you can pull over if needed. I would recommend going during the weekday instead of the busy weekend. Also make sure you follow the no alcohol rule, there were police checking in at the top of the trail when I was leaving.

I went today & had a nice time! I would say this is more of a difficult hike. There were still some wildflowers blooming which was so beautiful, the observation deck was the perfect spot for lunch.
