This is a beautiful beach, and the rock formations make it a unique find along the Northern California coast. If timing doesn't work and you can't make it for sunset, you can go in the morning but recommend getting there before 11am on a weekend, especially if it's beautiful weather out. Otherwise, the parking lot fills up fast and they will turn cars around who will have to find parking elsewhere and hike the 2 miles down to the beach (which is also a scenic walk through the woods but people will have to walk on the same road as the cars as there's not really a separate trail).

This is "glamping" at its finest. The resort overlooks the ocean, which is perfect for sunsets on clear evenings. If you're here for dinner, be sure to make reservations in advance (either for the sushi bar or the restaurant, can be made the day of). The sushi bar is popular for good reason (the fish is fresh and delicious), and they only serve sushi until it runs out (my group was at the beginning of the second wave, and they already ran out of salmon!)

Beautiful! The beach is not accessible by people, so the cove where the waterfall is has been kept pristine.

This is a hidden gem. There are no explicit signs that direct you to the calla lilies, but the Description above does a pretty good job at leading you to the valley. Unfortunately with the California drought, most of the calla lilies were not in full bloom, but it's still scenic and the walk along the cliff side is beautiful.
